A few details about tracking on Mac.

Will DiskEzy explain changes from before I installed it?

Measured history starts with your first completed check. Later checks show what changed in the locations you track. A newly installed app cannot recover a complete record of earlier storage activity.

What about System Data?

macOS groups many kinds of files under System Data. DiskEzy records changes in the locations it can access; its file totals are not a complete breakdown of everything macOS includes in that category.

Do I need a separate Mac license?

Yes. Mac and Windows have separate licenses. Choose the Mac offer on the download page; a Windows key does not activate the Mac app.
